In BC Saputo cheese is back in Costco! It disappeared for a while but at some point it returned and it's Canadian. This and Black Diamond will be my go-to from now on!

Great! I hope they expand that to the Kamloops Costco soon!

It's a Gen-X thing on the processed cheese slices...lol When I say "plastic cheese" to my friends they know exactly what I mean. Regardless, it's a highly processed food item.

So you know cheese thats processed into singles, they are still just Cheddar cheese. "plastic" is not accurate as it's just melted down cheddar thats formed with a emulsifier (natural item).

Personally, I've never shopped at Costco. Always one in the crowd, eh? lol My son and I ditched the processed cheese 3-4 years ago but recently my son picked up Armstrong Melts (also a Canadian company) to try. Imo, it's definitely better than the rest of the "plastic"...erm...processed cheeses available - great for omelettes! My only wish is that some of these cheese companies would bring back animal rennet cheeses rather than the vegetable rennet cheeses. OH well, Italy and a couple other European companies get my money for hard cheese.

We have a lot of great Canadian cheeses ๐Ÿง€ & dairy. We donโ€™t need ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ dairy at 250% tariffs.
