Mistplay is an app you can download on your Android phone or tablet that rewards you for playing games. The company is headquartered in Montreal. I've used it for years now. All of the rewards are in digital gift card. Examples: Tim Hortons, Cineplex, Amazon.ca, Best Buy Canada, Xbox, Playstation and many others. https://www.mistplay.com/

I've made a few purchases. It just enables you to earn "gxp" at a faster rate which earns you gift cards faster. It's not a substantial amount though. Sunshine Island is fun! There's soooo many farmville, candy crush and base building clones and I hate it. I generally only get a game to checkpoint 6 or 7 because otherwise it just takes too long.

I never pay sh*t lol i laugh when they tell you you get an instant credit for a payment like what. Lol. They don't think we are very smart. I have never paid for a online video game and i play quite a bit. And not really any gambling ones either. I'm a nerd and build farms growing wheat and milking cow games 🤣 sunshine island is the one I'm on now and if you have a team on there you can get further faster

So I think it was mistplay I was using a couple years ago I'm using free cash now. I made I think about $80 on mistplay over the course of months of playing but it was still something. I've probably done worse things with my time 🤗🤷lol do it while waiting in line waiting at the doctor's office, make your time worth something at least lol. I just started on free cash a few weeks ago I'm over $12 so far lol and I'm actually playing a couple games i like. If someone has six kids they could earn their own allowance if they gonna be on devices lol.

The website is half about business paying them to use the game play knowledge they have on users to improve games they make while rewarding users for basically playing games showing what works in games and what does not. I think my problem is most games used in this are semi gambling or just about time drains. https://www.mistplay.com/advertising/features-for-publishers

It's a slow grind, but it definitely works.

I think the thing is they are not saying to users they save them money, so it's not that they can just do bad at that, they are up front that you can earn based on usage at a rate. The huge problem was Honey was talking other creators income, with this at least its game maker to them to user. But yes always ask questions.

Interesting... After the "Honey" thing, I get suspicious of everything you "gain" something and it looks like it's free lunch... lol

I'm not quite sure. But I assume developers pay them to list and advertise their games on Mistplay. They also offer rewards for spending money on in-game purchases too, so I'm assuming they get a cut of that as well.

Looks like games pay them to be a part of the program as it's UA (user acquisition) and to increase the "life time value" of the game with a larger user base.
